Software Developer

We are seeking a stellar software developer to help design and build high-performance online gaming systems.

Preferred Experience:

5+ years of real-world programming experience
Experience creating client-server applications
Casino or Lottery experience a plus

Skills:

Fluent in C++, including STL
Knowledge and experience with ActionScript
Proficient with Linux programming
Strong O-O design skills
Experience with source control systems and processes
Highly organized, independent and responsible
Working knowledge of Java, Perl, PHP, SQL and XML is a plus

Responsibilities

Design and implement practical, maintainable technical solutions
Perform code reviews; adhere to coding standards
Create unit and regression tests as part of development process
Understand business needs and work within the delivery deadlines

Location
This position is based at GameLogic's headquarters in Waltham, MA.

Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator would be part of the Operations group.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Solid understanding of UNIX fundamentals
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
Experience administering Linux in production environments
Experience with Perl and Bash scripting, and knowing the time and place for each
The ability to work with and be relied upon by other members of the team, and be in the on-call rotation
Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts
Experience maintaining production MySQL databases
IT end-user support skills (PCs, printers, back office software packages)

Candidates will benefit from:

Experience with Debian
Experience with Fibre Channel
Solid understanding of security fundamentals
Experience in IT support role
